Wilmington Housing Authority Family Self Sufficiency Program

 


The Family Self-Sufficiency Program is a 5-year program through the Wilmington Housing Authority. Residents who participate will receive extensive case management with an emphasis on working toward wage and earning progression. Our comprehensive program allows many residents to move into the private market or purchase a new home.

Under this program, families will work toward, removing barriers to self-sufficiency, develop new and positive attitudes towards education, job training, counseling, and employment, thus, building skills necessary to achieve self-sufficiency.
