Welcome to the Wilmington Housing Authority website. If you are a frequent visitor to the site you will notice that the website has been redesigned. We hope that you will find it to be informative and easy to navigate.
We have attempted to provide all types of information about the Wilmington Housing Authority: our goals and objectives, the services we provide, and opportunities for you, the public, to be involved in our mission.
The website features some of our recent successes. In September 2008, we opened the doors to our new tax credit development, Robert R. Taylor Senior Homes and The Pointe at Taylor Estates. Also, we received over 3 million dollars in additional capital funding to help modernize our public housing communities. We will keep you updated on the process for the development of new properties and the revitalization of our existing properties.
There have also been significant changes to our Housing Choice Voucher program. We are now able to more effectively and consistently meet the needs of program participants. We have included a web page specific to the HCV program that provides up to date information about the program.
So, take the time to explore the WHA website. Tell us what you think. We would love to hear from you.
